I haven't blogged in quite a while now so thought I'd briefly talk about something that I have done for quite a few years. This might seem obvious but some magicians might not do it and that is to take advantage of little pieces of information that you can pick up simply by listening.

Matthew was lucky enough to perform alongside other acts at the Edinburgh Film Festival in 2010 to celebrate the release of this incredible Animation. Matthew performed some classic magic including the producing of endless cards at the fingertips.

Well it certainly seems like magic is TV's flavour of the month. With two shows being shown in quick succession, could this be the sign that magic is going to be back on our screens for the foreseeable future? I can't be sure as I'm not a mind reader...maybe I'll ask Derren.
"An Evening of Magic" - 23rd May 2010
I'd like to thank everyone who came and supported me at my one man show "An Evening of Magic" on the 23rd of May at the Customs House Theatre. It was a great night and both I and (I hope) my audience had a great time.
What instrument do you play?
Its a strange thing but most magicians whether they are a close up magician or corporate magician have at some point had this happen to them.
Party Magician
Apart from wedding magic one of the most popular uses for a magician is at a party. I perform at hundreds of events ranging from wedding anniversaries to birthday parties. Although I don't perform at children's birthday parties, I get enquiries from people who are looking to celebrate anything from an 18th to an 80th birthday.
